Readers, you know how the BuddhaBabes love their multi-task, so this will come as no surprise…
We’ve mastered the wait time it takes to let our deep conditioner sink in, but what to do for those endless minutes until your self tanner is dry enough for the towel, the robe, or the actual outfit?
Follow this fool-proof sequence and never stand before the mirror again, hoping for fewer streaks and maybe a little more tone in the legs … while reading the ingredients list on the bottle (again)!
What better time to work the inner thighs AND core? Your feet are already hip distance apart, aren’t they? With legs externally rotated (turned out), rise up on those tippy toes to a releve from ballet: inhale, zipping in the tummy, spreading collar bones wide as you rise up; hold position for 3 breaths, then exhale back down. Repeat 5 times.
Now, step a bit wider to plie, with feet turned out: inhale, lower down, focusing on maintaining a tight core and a clinch in the butt, hold for 3 breaths, exhale, rise back up to standing. Repeat 5 times.
Now, if you’re wearing white, you know you need to give it another minute. Combine the releve with the plie--stay in the wide leg stance, inhale lower down, and raise up first on the left side to the toes, then back down and raise the right, alternating for a count of 10, then lowering down on the exhale. Repeat 2 times more. There, you’re ready—-go on and get dressed!
Ok, if you really want to pass up this 2-minute toner, the least you could do is organize your medicine cabinet, right?
Have a fun, safe, and healthy Memorial Day Weekend, Babes!
